No-confidence motion: BJP MP Paresh Rawal takes a jibe at Rahul Gandhi
Taking a dig at Congress President Rahul Gandhi, BJP MP from Gujarat Paresh Rawal today said that earth will shake if Rahul Gandhi will speak in parliament today.

"Agar aaj Rahul ji bina padhe, bina fumble kare, bina ghalti kare 15 minute bolenge toh dharti zaroor hilegi, hilegi bhi kya, naachegi (If Rahul ji will speak for 15 minutes without reading from paper, without fumble and mistakes, the mother earth will shake, it will not only shake it will dance)," BJP leader Paresh Rawal said.

Bollywood veteran actor Rawal was referring to Prime Minister's speech during Karnataka assembly elections when PM had challenged Gandhi to speak for 15 minutes without any paper, and in any language.

BJP has been using the hashtag 'Bhookamp Aane Wala Hai' referring to the uproar in the Parliament that will shake the Opposition.

The Lok Sabha today took up for debate the no-trust vote against the Narendra Modi government, the first since the BJP-led dispensation came to power four years ago.

Telugu Desam Party's Jayadev Galla initiated the discussion on the no-confidence motion.

Opposition parties have brought the motion against the government on several issues like special status to Andhra Pradesh, cow vigilantism, lynchings, atrocities against women and Dalits and alleged dilution of the SC/ST Act.

But the opposition parties got a setback in its efforts to unite parties against the NDA government after the BJD and Shiv Sena announced that they won't take part in the no-confidence. According to some reports AIADMK has also decided to not support the motion against the Modi government.

In a House of 535 members, the ruling National Democratic Alliance has 313 members in the Lok Sabha, including 274 (including the Speaker) of BJP, 18 of Shiv Sena, six LJP and four SAD.
