Time to act, not just talk, AAP to Navjot Singh Sidhu on his allegations against Badals
AAP's Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly H S Phoolka demanded that the state government must set up a commission to look into the cases

In a press statement, AAP's Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly H S Phoolka demanded that the state government must set up a "commission to look into the cases related to corruption of Akalis".
He said even after two months of Captain Amarinder Singh led Congress government coming to power, no inquiry had been initiated against the Badals.
Attacking the Badal family, Phoolka alleged that it had largely "benefited during the previous government at the cost of general public".
The Congress must fulfill its promise of put behind bars, people responsible for corrupt practices in the past, he said.
Earlier Sidhu had accused that former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal of siphoning off central funds.
The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) had hit back at Sidhu asking him to refrain from playing "petty politics" by "misleading" the people.
