From Mukesh Ambani to Uday Kotak, India's top honchos attend reception for Abu Dhabi's crown prince

The reception for the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, by the UAE ambassador, Ahmed Albanna, last week was a big-ticket do attended by major corporate chieftains of India.

Nearly 100 Indian businessmen and actors were among the 250 guests. UAE delegates made up the rest of the guest list. The party lasted over two hours. The crown prince mingled with the attendees over snacks at the Taj Mahal Palace and Towers in Mumbai. The event was organised to foster business ties between the two countries.

Earlier in the day, the royal rang the closing bell at the Bombay Stock Exchange and visited the 22nd floor to view the exchange's information technology infrastructure.
