A high-profile wedding reception for Hemendra Kothari's daughter Aditi

Investment banker Hemendra Kothari's daughter, Aditi, transitioned from Miss to Mrs nearly six months ago. But the celebrations have only just begun for the family.

Mumbai-based Aditi tied the knot with Vikram Desai in April in a registered ceremony with immediate family in attendance.

On November 26, the Kotharis will host a reception for friends and business associates in Mumbai. After that, celebrations will move to Jaipur on November 28 and 29. The festivities will be a private and family affair, with many of them happening at high-profile luxury venues.

Big names from industry are expected to attend. Those who showed up at the 2013 wedding of Shuchi, Kothari's other daughter, included union finance minister Arun Jaitley, Shashi and Ravi Ruia ( Essar Group), Ashwin Dani (Asian Paints), N Chandrasekharan (TCS), Pramit Jhaveri (Citibank), Baba Kalyani (Bharat Forge), Ramesh Chauhan (Bisleri) and Keki Mistry (HDFC), among others.

Aditi is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (The Wharton School) and Harvard Business School. She is currently executive VP and Head of Sales & Marketing, DSP BlackRock Investment Managers.

Desai, son of Anami and Varsha, is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. He is currently the founding director of the India office of the Toronto-based Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB).
