Expect Budget 2015 to boost Govt’s ‘Make in India’ programme: Vivek Chaand Sehgal, Motherson Sumi
"We have a huge list of expectations. We also understand that the government and the automotive bodies have been working towards it."

ET Now: Budget 2015 is just seven days away. What are your expectations from the auto & auto component sector’s perspective?
Vivek Chaand Sehgal: We have a huge list of expectations. We also understand that the government and the automotive bodies have been working towards it. So, I would not want to pitch in on that.
There are some very sensible guys out there who are discussing the possibilities. As far as we at Motherson Sumi are concerned, 88% of our business is outside India. So, we do have huge expectations from ‘ Make in India’.
I am sure the government is going to give a tremendous impetus to Make in India in the Budget.
