Aviva Life in tie-up with Bank of Rajasthan for distribution

NEW DELHI: Aviva Life Insurance today signed an agreement with Bank of Rajasthan to distribute its insurance products through the latter's branches.

"With this strategic tie-up, Aviva has found a partner with an extensive distribution reach thus strengthening our position in the country," Aviva Life Insurance Managing Director and CEO Bert Paterson said in a statement.

With this tie-up, the insurer will have access to a customer base of 2.5 million across the country.

Full range of products to be made available to bank's customers through 463 bank branches across 300 cities, the statement said

The insurance company has now increased its presence to more than 1,700 locations in the country with a potential customer base of 46 million (approx).

Aviva Life Insurance is a 74:26 joint venture between Dabur and Aviva with the current paid-up capital of 758 crore.
