MUMBAI: Apollo Tyres' October-December net profit rose 77.27 per cent to Rs 62.17 crore as compared with Rs 35.07 crore in the same quarter of previous year.
Total income for the three months ended December 31, 2007 increased 13.62 per cent to Rs 974.50 crore from Rs 857.63 crore same quarter year ago.
At 1:23 pm, Apollo Tyres shares were down 0.18 per cent at Rs 55.25. The stock had risen to a high of Rs 58.40 earlier in the trade.
