PTL Enterprises Q3 net profit up 1080%

MUMBAI: PTL Enterprises reported a net profit of Rs 236 lakh for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, compared with Rs 20 lakh in the same quarter of the previous year.
Total income increased 76.58 per cent to Rs 6.71 crore from Rs 3.80 crore in the same quarter year earlier, while expenditure for the quarter fell 46.73 per cent to Rs 1.22 crore from Rs 2.29 crore.
The company’s operations predominantly comprise of one segment - income from lease of plant to Apollo Tyres Ltd.
At 11:44 am, PTL Enterprises shares were up 2.72 per cent at Rs 168 on BSE.
