Restaurant chain Rajdhani Thali to open more outlets in Dubai

Following success of its first Gujarati food outlet in Dubai, an Indian restaurant chain is planning to open more branches in the region.

DUBAI: Following success of its first Gujarati food outlet here, an Indian restaurant chain is planning to open more branches in the region.

Having 38 branches in India, the six decades old Rajdhani Thali so far has three foreign outlets in Dubai, Sydney and Vietnam.

Kamlesh Barot, Director of Encore Hotels Pvt Ltd, which runs the Rajdhani Thali, says he was inundated with requests from clients in India to open restaurants in Dubai.

The chain opened its first outlet in 1947 at Crawford Market in Mumbai.

"Now Rajdhani has created a niche for its trendy and authentic food with eating-out connoisseurs, not only in Mumbai but the world-over."
