R S Sharma appointed as PSPB President
Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) Chairman and Managing Director R S Sharma has been appointed President of the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB).

NEW DELHI: Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) Chairman and Managing Director R S Sharma has been appointed President of the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB).
"He (Sharma) has been nominated by the Secretary, Petroleum and Natural Gas, M S Srinivasan, who is the ex-officio Chairman of the General Council of the 25-year old Sports Board," an ONGC release said here.
Sportspersons from PSPB have represented India in almost all sports in international events, bringing global accolades to the country.
"Sharma takes on the reins of the body at a crucial time when the expectations of the country from PSPB - in the next Asiad, Commonwealth and Olympics - are immense," the release said.
"He (Sharma) has been nominated by the Secretary, Petroleum and Natural Gas, M S Srinivasan, who is the ex-officio Chairman of the General Council of the 25-year old Sports Board," an ONGC release said here.
