Anand Mahindra meets Sergio Gor; discusses US investments, supply chains resilience

Anand Mahindra, Chairperson of M&M group met US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor on Thursday, wherein the two leaders discussed the automakers' investments in the United States.

Sharing a glimpse of his meeting with Mahindra, Gor said he "very much enjoyed visiting" the chairman and learning about their investments in the US that are strengthening American manufacturing, generating jobs, and building resilient supply chains.

Meanwhile, Gor has been enagaged in the ongoing bilateral discussions between India and the US and chief negotiators from both sides hold three-day talks in New Delhi. He met US trade representaive Brendan Lynch on Wednesday.


"Brendan and his team are in town to continue finalizing the interim trade deal. Our efforts are guided by President Trump and Prime Minister Modi’s vision of enhancing trade and investment between our countries. Progress is being made!" Gor said in a post on X.

In his address at the Citi India Conference, the US envoy highlighted the growing US-India economic partnership across key dimensions, from defense and energy, to technology and innovation.
