Son of Pakistan's ex-spy chief (inset) has claimed that Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandar movies were made with the help of R&AW.
A video circulating on social media, purportedly showing an interview of a former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief, has sparked attention after it included allegations that the films “Dhurandar 1” and “Dhurandar 2” were developed with support from India’s external intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), including alleged involvement in funding and script development.

The individual further alleged that the films reflect a deep and detailed understanding of Pakistan, suggesting that such depiction would not typically be possible without external assistance. He claimed that a senior Pakistani official showed him clips of the movie as he has not seen the movie and has no interest in seeing it. He further claimed the way Balochistan has been portrayed in the movie points strongly towards the Indian intelligence agency.

Separately, it has been claimed that a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed in the Delhi High Court by a Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel ahead of the release of “Dhurandar”, alleging that the film depicted real-life locations and elements inspired by actual military operations and intelligence activities.

According to available information, the High Court disposed of the petition and advised the petitioner to approach the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Following this, the film was released in theatres.

The Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandar 2 has collected over Rs 1,800 crore making it a super-hit.
