West Bengal to attend NITI Aayog meet after years of Centre-State tension

Kolkata: West Bengal government will participate in the upcoming NITI Aayog meeting on June 11. During a meeting with the top level administration, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has directed various departments to prepare for the NITI Ayog meeting, people in the know said. Mamata Banerjee never participated in the Niti Ayog meeting. Adhikari gave these instructions to various departments today at a high-level meeting. A directive has been issued to submit draft proposals by June 5.

The Chief Minister has directed the state administration to resume work for 100 days, which is now known as GRAM. "The work for 100 days will start in all districts except South 24 Pargana and Murshidabad district," Adhikari said, during the meeting of the state secretaries.
