Following the widespread circulation of these clips, Rahul addressed the criticism and revealed that financial pressures have pushed him to explore such content. His candid admission prompted a wave of support from many within the industry and among fans. One of the earliest voices to encourage him was filmmaker Farah Khan, who publicly wished him well.

Now, actor Archana Puran Singh has also extended her backing, responding strongly to the negativity surrounding Rahul’s online presence. He underscored that he prefers earning through honest effort instead of gaining attention by belittling others.

The backlash began after Rahul uploaded a series of videos that some viewers dismissed as awkward or out of touch. In one widely discussed clip, he was seen dancing to the song Tere Dar Pe Sanam from Phir Teri Kahaani Yaad Aayi, in which he had starred alongside Pooja Bhatt.
