This deal has surpassed previous benchmarks set by films like Jailer, Leo, Thug Life, and Coolie. For comparison, the first Jailer film was picked up by the same platform for around Rs 75 crore in 2023.



The upcoming film will see Rajinikanth reprise his popular role as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. The character became widely loved in the first part, contributing to the film’s massive success. The sequel retains its core cast, including Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa, and Vinayakan, who are expected to continue their roles and add continuity to the story.
