Dhurandhar 2 box office collection day 21: Ranveer Singh starrer becomes India's second highest grosser, mints Rs 1041 crore in India

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar and headlined by Ranveer Singh, continues its historic run at the box office even as it begins to slow down. On Day 21, the film’s India net collection has reached Rs 1,041.27 crore, making it the first Hindi film to cross the Rs 1000 crore mark domestically. Despite a dip in daily earnings, the film remains a major force and has now secured its place among India’s biggest blockbusters.

According to trade website Sacnilk, the film has collected Rs 1,653.67 crore worldwide so far. This includes Rs 1,246.67 crore from India gross collections and Rs 407 crore from overseas markets. The numbers reflect the film’s massive appeal both domestically and internationally, driven by strong word of mouth and a wide theatrical release across 384,903 shows.



The film has also achieved another major milestone by becoming India’s second-highest-grossing film. It surpassed the lifetime domestic total of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which stood at Rs 1,030.42 crore. Crossing the Rs 1,033 crore mark in India was a significant moment for the team, placing the film just behind the top spot in the all-time list.

However, after a strong three-week run, the film has started to lose momentum. For the first time since its release, Dhurandhar 2 recorded single-digit daily earnings, signalling a slowdown in collections. This dip is expected as the film moves into its fourth week and faces fresh competition at the box office.

The coming days will be crucial, especially with new releases hitting theatres this Friday. Trade analysts believe the film’s performance may see further fluctuations depending on audience response to upcoming films. Despite the slowdown, its current numbers have already cemented its blockbuster status.

The film is now aiming to surpass Pushpa 2: The Rise, which holds a record collection of Rs 1,234.10 crore. Whether Dhurandhar 2 can achieve this milestone remains to be seen, but its current trajectory suggests it still has some momentum left.
