Rajpal Yadav reveals what he ate when he was a struggling artiste, sharing space with 10-12 people, shares recipe with Farah Khan: ‘Who would make rotis for so many?’
YouTube creator Farah Khan visited Rajpal Yadav's manager, Sakett Saawhney, where the actor candidly discussed his recent legal troubles and time in jail. During the visit, Rajpal also shared memories of his early days in Mumbai and prepared a mi...

Earlier this year, in February, Rajpal found himself entangled in legal trouble related to a ₹9 crore financial dispute involving a cheque bounce case, which led to his surrender and subsequent transfer to Tihar Jail. A few days later, on February 16, he secured interim relief, with bail granted until March 18. During the informal conversation with Farah, the actor opened up about that difficult chapter in his life with a calm and composed outlook.
In a lighter moment during the vlog, Rajpal prepared a simple mixed vegetable rice dish for Farah and Dilip, personally chopping the ingredients. While cooking, he reminisced about his early days in Mumbai, when he shared cramped living spaces with 10-12 aspiring actors, including Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Manoj Goel, and Sanjay Kumar. Back then, preparing a one-pot rice meal was a practical solution, allowing them to avoid the labor of making rotis for a large group.
As the conversation shifted to his time in jail, Rajpal explained that he was not assigned specific duties, but emphasized that life inside demanded strict discipline and adherence to routine. Reflecting on the experience, he conveyed that he has learned to adapt to every circumstance life presents, maintaining resilience rather than resentment.
Meanwhile, Farah revealed that she is gearing up to return to direction later this year, with plans to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan on an upcoming project, though details remain under wraps. On the professional front, Rajpal is awaiting the release of Bhooth Bangla, a horror-comedy directed by Priyadarshan. The film features Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Tabu in key roles and is slated to arrive in theatres on April 17.
