The early standings in the Indian Premier League 2026 season show Royal Challengers Bengaluru setting the pace, with two wins in as many games and a league-best net run rate. Close behind are Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, all unbeaten so far, making it a tightly contested top four early in the campaign.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have had a mixed start with one win from three matches, while Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants have shown inconsistency, splitting their results. These teams have displayed flashes of strong performances but will need greater consistency to climb higher.

At the bottom, Gujarat Titans, Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings are yet to register a win, with CSK enduring a particularly tough start with three consecutive defeats. While it is still early days in the tournament, the pressure is already mounting on these sides to turn things around quickly and keep their playoff hopes alive.
