Dhurandhar 2 has brought a tsunami at the box office, and there are no signs of it slowing down. The movie hit theatres on March 19, and since then, the film has broken numerous records worldwide. Headlined by Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has completed one week at the box office and has already crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark globally. According to Sacnilk.com, the film has grossed a total of Rs 261.92 crore overseas in eight days, pushing its total worldwide collection to Rs 1,067.24 crore. Dhurandhar 2 has surpassed the lifetime collection of Nag Ashwin and Prabhas’s Kalki 2898 AD (Rs 1042 crore), as well as Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster Pathaan (Rs 1050 crore). It is now eyeing the lifetime collections of Jawan, KGF: Chapter 2, and Dangal.




Joins elite club with SRK and Prabhas

As per box office reports from March 2026, Ranveer Singh has become the third Indian actor to deliver multiple Rs 1,000 crore films worldwide. He now joins the elite league of Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas. So far, only Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas had two films each in the list of the top 10 highest-grossing Indian movies, SRK with Jawan and Pathaan, and Prabhas with Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Kalki 2898 AD.

Now, after Dhurandhar 2 crossed the lifetime collections of Kalki 2898 AD and Pathaan, Ranveer Singh has also secured two spots in the top 10, entering this exclusive club.

Biggest Hindi movie opening ever

Dhurandhar 2 has set a new record as the biggest Hindi-language opener in box office history, earning Rs 99.10 crore from its Hindi version on Day 1 alone. It has surpassed Pushpa 2: The Rule, which earlier held the record with Rs 70.30 crore. Despite delays in regional screenings, the Hindi version turned out to be the film’s biggest strength at the box office.

Produced by Dhar, Lokesh Dhar, and Jyoti Deshpande under Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the spy-thriller has emerged as a massive box office success.

The first instalment, Dhurandhar, released in December 2025, had opened to a modest Rs 27–28 crore. However, the sequel has taken things to another level, with a huge opening that is nearly four times higher than the original.

Highest first-week collection in Hindi belt

Dhurandhar 2 has broken Pushpa 2: The Rule’s record to become the highest single-language Hindi earner in its opening week. The film collected around Rs 546.04 crore in Hindi within the first seven days, surpassing Pushpa 2’s Hindi total of about Rs 425 crore during the same period.

Fastest Hindi movie to reach Rs 1000 crore mark

Dhurandhar 2 has become the fastest Hindi film to cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark worldwide, achieving the milestone in just seven days. Earlier, the record was held by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. The movie took 18 days to reach the same figure. Overall, the film is now the second-fastest Indian movie to hit Rs 1,000 crore, just behind Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, which crossed Rs 1,011 crore in 7 days.



Biggest special paid preview collection

Even before hitting theatres, Dhurandhar 2 had already begun setting records. The film recorded one of the biggest advance bookings ever at national cinema chains, with ticket sales reportedly reaching Rs 38.77 crore before release. It outperformed blockbusters like Animal, Jawan, and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in pre-release sales. The special paid preview began on March 18 at 5:30 pm.

Dhurandhar 2 is currently running successfully in theatres. Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film also stars Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt in key roles.
