Dhurandhar 2 box office collection day-wise
According to early estimates by Sacnilk.com, the film continued its strong run on Day 8 by collecting around Rs 49.70 crore in a single day. This pushed its total India collections to approximately Rs 674.17 crore net and Rs 805.32 crore gross. Overseas markets have also contributed significantly, with the film earning about Rs 261.92 crore outside India, taking the worldwide total to Rs 1,067.24 crore so far. With these figures, Dhurandhar 2 has achieved a major milestone by becoming only the fifth Bollywood film to cross the Rs 600 crore mark domestically. In the process, it has overtaken the lifetime collections of several recent blockbusters, including Chhaava, Stree 2, and Jawan in India.
With worldwide gross collection stands at Rs 1067.24 crore, the Ranveer Singh-Aditya Dhar film has become the ninth highest-grossing Indian movie of all time. It has surpassed Kalki 2898 AD (Rs 1,054 crore) and is expected to cross Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan as well.
Moreover, the only Hindi film still ahead of the sequel in domestic collections is its own predecessor, Dhurandhar, which had set a high benchmark by earning around Rs 895 crore in India. If the sequel maintains its current momentum, it could soon challenge that record as well.
More about Dhurandhar 2
Released on March 19, the film entered its second weekend with strong advance bookings and packed theatres across major cities. Industry trackers suggest that the film is well on track to cross the Rs 700 crore mark in India within the next few days, which would further strengthen its position as one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood history.Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features a powerful ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and veteran performer Rakesh Bedi. Their performances, along with Aditya Dhar’s high-octane direction and the film’s large-scale action sequences, have been widely credited for their massive appeal.
Looking ahead, trade experts believe the film still has significant potential at the box office, especially with limited competition in the coming weeks. Some analysts have even suggested that if the momentum continues, Dhurandhar 2 could aim for the long-standing global record held by Dangal, which remains one of the highest-grossing Indian films worldwide.
