Farah Khan recently revealed she had known Salman since childhood
Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently spoke candidly about her relationships with the famous trio of Bollywood stars—Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan—during a conversation with podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia. While discussing her personal rapport with each of them, Farah shared that her bonds with the actors vary based on how long she has known them and the experiences they have shared over the years.

Farah explained that her connection with Shah Rukh Khan is particularly strong, as they have worked together on several projects and developed a deep friendship over time. She also mentioned that her association with Salman Khan goes back much further, reaching into her childhood years. Because of this long-standing familiarity, she feels comfortable speaking about him in a very personal way. However, she admitted that she does not share the same level of closeness with Aamir Khan, suggesting that their relationship has remained more distant compared to her ties with the other two superstars.

While reminiscing about Salman, Farah narrated a humorous memory from the period when the actor was working on his first film, Maine Pyar Kiya. At that time, she had been asked to teach him some dance steps during the film’s production. However, she recalled that the experience did not last very long. According to her, she left the session within an hour, a moment that both she and Salman have later joked about publicly.

Farah also reflected on Salman’s personality, especially his unique style of humour. She described his comedic sense as understated and extremely subtle, noting that it often carries a sharp, sarcastic edge. In her view, people who understand this style find him genuinely hilarious. She added that the actor’s life experiences have shaped this particular brand of humour, which is delivered in a calm, deadpan manner. Despite this seemingly tough exterior, Farah believes that Salman is actually a gentle and kind-hearted individual beneath the surface.

During the discussion, Ranveer Allahbadia raised the topic of controversies and how public figures sometimes retreat from the spotlight during difficult moments. Farah responded by saying that Salman is not someone who disappears in such situations. Instead, she explained that he prefers to ignore the surrounding noise and remain focused on his professional commitments.

Farah also commented on the widely discussed reputation Salman once had for arriving late to film shoots. She pointed out that tardiness was not unusual among actors in earlier decades. According to her, while many stars might have reached sets behind schedule, they would usually remain there until all required work was completed rather than leaving after a fixed number of hours. She emphasized that none of Salman’s films had ever been abandoned because of him, describing his work ethic as someone who shuts out distractions and continues concentrating on the job at hand.

Her YouTube channel, where she frequently collaborates with her cook Dilip and visits the homes of well-known personalities, has attracted a substantial audience. The channel currently boasts more than 2.73 million subscribers, reflecting her growing popularity in the online entertainment space as well.
