Over the years, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have moved from being strong competitors in the 1990s to sharing a friendly and respectful bond. Today, they support each other’s films, attend important family events and openly appreciate one another’s work. Aamir has also mentioned earlier that the three of them often meet privately for long conversations beyond films and the industry. Against this backdrop, Kangana Ranaut was recently asked about her equation with the three superstars.

Kangana Ranaut opens up about her best friend in the industry

The actress attended the News18 Rising Bharat Summit, where she participated in a rapid-fire round filled with questions about Bollywood. During the session, Kangana was asked to pick her “best friend” among Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir.


The question drew an immediate and humorous reaction from her. Laughing at the suggestion, she wondered aloud when they had become her friends, making it clear that she does not share a close personal bond with them.


However, when prompted to at least name the one she liked most, Kangana gave a candid answer. She said she finds Salman Khan “quite cool,” offering a brief but positive remark about him. While she did not elaborate extensively, her response stood out because she has often been vocal in her criticism of Bollywood’s inner circles.

Kangana has never been known to shy away from expressing strong opinions about the film industry. Over the years, she has frequently called out what she sees as favouritism and groupism. Yet, her recent comment suggested a lighter tone, especially in the context of the rapid-fire format.

On Kangana and three Khans' work front

On the professional front, Kangana was last seen in Emergency, a political biopic based on former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film received mixed reactions from critics and audiences and saw a modest performance at the box office. She has now moved on to her next project titled Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata.


Meanwhile, the Khans are busy with their respective projects. Shah Rukh Khan is currently working on the action film King, which will also feature his daughter Suhana Khan. Salman Khan is gearing up for Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Aamir Khan, on the other hand, recently made a cameo appearance in Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, starring Vir Das.
