French President Emmanuel Macron shared a picture with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on X on the second day of his India visit. Macron reached Delhi on Wednesday to attend the AI Impact Summit 2026 and take part in numerous programmes, including the inauguration of the Franco-Indian Center for Artificial Intelligence in Health.

French President Macron held wide-ranging bilateral talks with PM Modi on Tuesday, wherein the two leaders discussed key issues, including defence, education, clean energy and aviation. They also announced the India-France Year of Innovation, a strategic initiative to transform their partnership into a 'Partnership of the People'.

India and France plan to connect their industries and innovators in every field, whether it is defence, clean energy, space, or emerging technologies.
