French President Emmanuel Macron is set to visit India from February 17 to 19 for the India-AI Impact Summit, which takes place from February 16 to 20, the Ministry of External Affairs said ‌in a ‍statement on ‍Tuesday. The trip is designed to follow up on the achievements of last year’s Artificial Intelligence summit in Paris, which Macron co-hosted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"Let's finally look at what we have managed to achieve together, the successes of French diplomacy last year --the Artificial Intelligence summit. The whole world came to Paris. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated that during the visit, both leaders will engage in discussions to strengthen bilateral cooperation across a broad range of areas outlined in the Horizon 2047 Roadmap. "In addition, the leaders will discuss regional and global issues of mutual interest, including cooperation in the Indo-Pacific," it said.

Macron’s visit signals France’s commitment to deepening Indo-French ties in technology, innovation, and strategic cooperation, while also ensuring that last year’s Paris momentum translates into tangible outcomes in India.
