Salman Khan is currently gearing up for the release of his much-awaited movie, Battle of Galwan. Besides this, he was recently spotted at the 100 Years of Sang Journey: New Horizons event in Mumbai. From Vicky Kaushal to Ranbir Kapoor, several celebrities also graced the appearance. At the event, the RSS chief shares how Salman Khan influences college students.

Salman Khan is the inspiration for college students, says RSS chief

Several videos and glimpses from the event are making rounds on the internet. One of the clips grabbed the attention where Chief Mohan Bhagwat called him an inspiration for college students. During his speech, Mohan Bhagwat explained, "What Salman Khan wears, college students do the same. Why they do it? 'Because he is wearing it.' Why is he wearing it? 'I don't know'."




He further added, "It's the same in every matter, good or bad, everything is driven by fashion. Those who start fashion in society are called trustworthy people, excellent, achievers, such people." After hearing the speech, the camera pans towards Salman Khan and his reaction is unmissable.

The video went viral in no time and fans fully agreed with RSS Chief. One of the users took to X (formerly Twitter) and said that Salman Khan has been a 'trendsetter since the 1990s'. Another shared that he has inspired the youth for bodybuilding and still doing so. Some of them praise the actor's humility and called him a 'good person, while others wrote, "Remember his towel dance, shredded denims, and tying a shirt around his waist while showing his physique?"

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan finished shooting for Apoorva Lakhia's Battle of Galwan. The movie is based on the Galwan Valley clash between India and China in 2020, in which 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives. The film stars Chitrangada Singh as the lead actress. According to the Bollywood Hungama report, the movie has been postponed, and now the war film will be released in August 2026. Stay tuned!
