Taking to Instagram, the Fighter actor shared a long and candid note, offering clarity on his condition while staying true to his trademark wit and honesty. In the post, Hrithik revealed that he had been dealing with discomfort in his left knee, which had suddenly started acting up.

Hrithik explained that he had spent the entire day feeling irritated while nursing a knee that seemed to have “checked out” unexpectedly. He added that this wasn’t unusual for him, as his body has a mind of its own at times. According to the actor, certain body parts, including his left leg, shoulder, and even ankle, have a tendency to unpredictably “switch off,” something he has learned to live with over the years.The actor also talked about how these physical challenges have shaped his outlook on life. He spoke about dealing with sudden physical setbacks and how they often lead to dark, overwhelming moments mentally, before he eventually finds humour in the situation. Hrithik credited this journey for sharpening his sense of humour, which he considers one of his biggest coping mechanisms.
In the same post, Hrithik also touched upon his long-standing stutter, recalling a light-hearted yet awkward incident from a film set. He described shooting a serious courtroom scene where his dialogue included the word “dinner,” but his tongue repeatedly replaced it with “lunch.”
