In a recent conversation with Just Too Filmy, Vicky reflected on his emotional journey since the birth of his son, Vihaan, describing fatherhood as deeply transformative and grounding.
Vicky shared that he is still learning what it truly means to be a father. According to him, the emotions that come with parenthood are intense and layered, making them difficult to put into words. He explained that the experience brings a mix of joy, restlessness, responsibility, and self-reflection. At times, he becomes more conscious of his actions, feeling the need to lead by example, while at other moments he believes he is doing just fine as he is.
The actor said that fatherhood has made him realise how quickly time becomes invaluable. His focus, he noted, has shifted completely, with his child becoming the emotional centre of his world. No matter where he is or what he is doing, there is always a pull that brings him back to thoughts of his son.
The fear he never had before
One of the most relatable revelations from Vicky’s interaction was his new-found fear of losing his phone. He admitted that this was never a concern for him earlier, but it has now become a constant worry. The reason, he explained, is simple — his phone is filled with countless photos and videos of his baby.Every captured moment, from small expressions to everyday gestures, has become priceless for him. The actor said that the idea of losing those memories unsettles him, as they hold emotional value far beyond the device itself. Spending time with his child, he added, is something he craves deeply, calling it the most precious part of his life right now.
