Katy Perry posted a festive collection of holiday photos and videos on Instagram on Wednesday, Jan. 7, captioning the post simply, “Holidaze ♥️.”
In a photo, Perry, 41, planted a kiss on the cheek of the 54-year-old former Prime Minister of Canada, who returned her affection with a wide smile, as they posed together before a vibrant beach sunset.
Perry also shared a close-up of a gold Maple Leaf necklace, a possible tribute to her Canadian partner’s home country.
Perry’s post included family moments at a Christmas tree farm, featuring her, ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom, 48, and their 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, as Bloom hoisted a tree over his shoulder. Perry and Bloom, who got engaged in February 2019 and welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove in August 2020, ended their nine-year relationship in June 2025.
Perry and Trudeau sparked speculation about their relationship last summer, with a July outing in Montreal drawing public attention. According to People website, a source said that Trudeau was “pursuing” Perry, even flying to California to see her during a tour break. The romance became serious because of Trudeau’s determined efforts.
"She's flattered that he's made such a big effort and she's excited to be dating him," the source added.
"She wasn't looking to date when they first hung out and she certainly wasn't looking for a boyfriend," according to the source. "He's flown all over the world to spend time with her while she toured. She likes spending time with him."
