KOLKATA: Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee on Friday alleged that many voters have been marked unmapped during the special intensive review (SIR) and said the people of Bengal would "unmap" the BJP from the state during the assembly polls. Banerjee, who launched the party's outreach campaign, 'Abaar Jitbe Bangla', in South 24 Parganas district's Baruipur, said Trinamool's vote share and seats will increase this time.

People were made to stand in queue for SIR hearing in Bengal, he said, adding: "Stand in the queue for the last time during the 2026 assembly election. Then, show them, and unmap the BJP for once and all."

According to him, 13.6 million people have been put under the 'logical discrepancies' category after the review. People have now been forced to stand in queue for SIR hearing, he said. Chief minister Mamata Banerjee will visit the Election Commission if required, he said.
