Kolkata: Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee plans to hold virtual meetings with more than 1.2 lakh people - including party leaders at multiple levels and BLA2s, party-appointed representatives on matters related to the Special Summary Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls - to brief them on the revision exercise, recent political developments and the party's "Unnoyoner Panchali" report card ahead of the 2026 Assembly polls.

"Unnoyoner Panchali" is a report prepared by the West Bengal government highlighting the work and development initiatives under the Mamata Banerjee government over the past 15 years. The plan for the outreach was finalised at a closed-door meeting chaired by Abhishek Banerjee with senior party leaders on Friday. According to sources, beginning January 1, Banerjee will address the meetings virtually in phases. The interactions will focus on preparations for the 2026 elections, the SIR process and the dissemination of the development report card.

"We are the only party in power which has released a report card on the developmental work," Banerjee told leaders during the meeting. He also set the tone for the 2026 campaign with the slogan: "Manbe na Haar, Aabar Trinamool Sarkar" (We will not be defeated, Trinamool government again).
