Devendra Bora’s rise in domestic cricket
The 25-year-old Bora was playing only his third List A match when he claimed the prized wicket. He had earlier taken four wickets in Uttarakhand’s opening Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26 match against Himachal Pradesh. Bora has featured in 15 first-class matches for Uttarakhand, picking up 30 wickets, including a best return of 6 for 79 against Bengal in the Ranji Trophy in October.
