The collection, consisting of 19 images, was released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee. The photos also include Trump’s ally Steve Bannon, former Harvard president Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, and actor Woody Allen.
The House Oversight Committee, which has 47 members, 26 Republicans and 21 Democrats, is continuing its investigation into Epstein, Maxwell, and the extent of government scrutiny of their activities.
Who is Jeffrey Epstein?
Jeffrey Epstein was an American financier and convicted sex offender known for his wealth and high-profile social connections. He was accused of running a sex-trafficking network involving underage girls.
One photo features former Prince Andrew alongside Bill Gates. This image appears to be a cropped version of a professionally taken photograph, with the full version including King Charles, then the Prince of Wales.
Several other photos depict Bill Clinton with Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein, and another unidentified woman, one of which appears to bear a Clinton signature. Clinton has previously acknowledged taking four trips on Epstein’s private jet with staff between 2002 and 2003, but has denied any involvement in Epstein’s criminal activities.
None of the newly released images indicates sexual misconduct, and there is no suggestion that any of the women pictured are underage. Many of the photos are undated, and the photographers remain unidentified.
Democratic Representative Robert Garcia stated that the committee is reviewing more than 95,000 photographs from Epstein’s estate and indicated that additional images would be released “in the days and weeks ahead.”
