Spotify Wrapped 2025: Arijit Singh rules India's Top Artist list 7th year in a row

Spotify has unveiled its 2025 Wrapped, and as always, it’s a fascinating glimpse into the music that defined the year. For the seventh consecutive year, Arijit Singh retained his crown as India’s most-streamed artist on Spotify.

Yet, ironically, none of his songs made it into the top five tracks of the year.

Instead, the title of the most-streamed song in India went to Raanjhan by Sachet-Parampara from Do Patti, which crossed an impressive 246 million streams.


Romance, it seems, still rules the playlists.

Even Arijit got a nod in the charts with his feature Apna Bana Le by Sachin-Jigar, which landed at eighth place.

It’s proof that even the king of Indian playback has to share the limelight, especially when love ballads dominate the streaming charts.

The year’s most-streamed artists reveal a mix of legends and contemporary hits. Arijit Singh sits at number one, followed by Pritam at number two and Shreya Ghoshal at number three.

Rounding out the top five are A.R. Rahman and Anirudh Ravichander, while the sixth to tenth spots feature Sachin-Jigar, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Tanishk Bagchi, and Masoom Sharma.

It’s a lineup that balances nostalgia with current trends, proving that while the hits may change, great voices endure.

The new Wrapped Party feature allows friends to compete and play together, while the Listening Archive gives AI-powered snapshots of memorable streaming days.
