President Donald Trump escalated his attacks on former President Joe Biden, as he announced he was “terminating” all documents signed by his predecessor using an autopen and warning that Biden could face “charges of perjury” if he claims full involvement in the process.

Trump, 79, has repeatedly argued that Biden, now 83, was absent or disengaged during his term and that unelected aides effectively governed in his place. In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump asserted that nearly all of Biden’s formal actions were invalid.

Joe Biden is undergoing treatment for aggressive prostate cancer diagnosed in May 2025, which had already spread to his bones. He also had cancerous skin cells removed from his forehead during a Mohs surgery procedure in September.

By October, he had completed a full course of radiation therapy and remains on hormone treatment as his medical team evaluates future care.

“Any document signed by Sleepy Joe Biden with the Autopen, which was approximately 92 percent of them, is hereby terminated, and of no further force or effect. The Autopen is not allowed to be used if approval is not specifically given by the President of the United States,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

He went further, accusing Biden’s aides of acting illegally.

“The Radical Left Lunatics circling Biden around the beautiful Resolute Desk in the Oval Office took the Presidency away from him. I am hereby cancelling all Executive Orders, and anything else that was not directly signed by Crooked Joe Biden, because the people who operated the Autopen did so illegally.”

Trump added that Biden “was not involved in the Autopen process,” warning that “if he says he was, he will be brought up on charges of perjury.”

The president has already undone many of Biden’s executive orders and questioned the validity of several pardons, though Biden said he personally authorized the use of his name for the controversial last-minute clemency actions.

Despite Trump’s claims, autopen-generated signatures have been recognized for decades as legally binding as long as staff members act under direct presidential instruction.

According to the New York Post website, GOP-led House probe found no direct evidence that Biden’s aides misused the autopen, though it noted his limited contact with key West Wing officials and internal staff concerns over carrying out verbally delivered, end-of-term clemency instructions.
