When a luxury bus full of IPS officers was spotted pulling into Aamir Khan’s building compound recently, social media went into overdrive. Speculation ranged from a possible security scare to a hush-hush film project requiring police coordination. But now, the real story behind the high-profile visit has surfaced — and it's far more heartwarming than dramatic.

Why were the IPS officers at Aamir Khan's house?

Celebrity paparazzo Viral Bhayani cleared the air by sharing an official update from Aamir Khan’s team. A member confirmed that the IPS trainees from the current batch had simply requested a meeting with the actor, and Aamir graciously hosted them at his residence. While the footage of officers entering his Juhu building set off a flurry of theories, it turns out this was not an isolated event. Aamir has hosted several such batches over the years, especially after the release of his 1999 cult film Sarfarosh.

About Sarfarosh

For many IPS aspirants and officers, Sarfarosh remains a powerful inspiration. The John Matthew Matthan directorial, which starred Aamir Khan as an idealistic IPS officer battling cross-border terrorism, was praised for its gripping story and realistic portrayal of the force. Released just before the Kargil conflict, the film resonated deeply with audiences and law enforcement alike, earning widespread acclaim and several awards, including the National Film Award. The movie starred Sonali Bendra, Naseeruddin Shah, alongside Mukesh Rishi, Pradeep Rawat, Akhilendra Mishra, Makrand Deshpande, Shri Vallabh Vyas, Govind Namdev and Surekha Sikri. The movie was also remade as Sathyameva Jayathe in Kannada and Astram in Telugu.
