Questioning the state government over the safety of women, Pradhan said BJP will come to power in West Bengal in 2026 as the people of the state will change the situation in times of a crisis like this. "The whole country is standing with Bengal and people must give a decisive verdict," Pradhan said. The Union minister also pointed out that such incidents happening in a state's colleges, which was known for its educational excellence, is a matter of shame. "The situation reflects the law and order situation in Bengal. Who will raise the voice if not the Opposition," Pradhan said, adding "What is the problem with the education sector? Trinamool has enmity with education and women's safety? Why does it happen again and again!"
"The whole world has seen what happened to the RG Kar victim. Two days back, I saw what happened to the law student. What has come to the forefront is same that Trinamool and anti-social elements have assaulted women. BJP will chalk out a plan to protest on the issue," Pradhan said.
