War 2 teaser out on Jr NTR’s birthday? Hrithik Roshan’s message has fans buzzing

Hrithik Roshan made everyone gaga over his role as Kabir Dhaliwal in War. Now, the actor is set to thrill fans again in War 2 this year. Joining Hrithik in the latest instalment of the Yash Raj Spy Universe are Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. With the countdown to War 2’s release underway, Hrithik has confirmed that something special related to the film will be released on May 20, the RRR star’s birthday.

Jr NTR will reportedly play the lead antagonist in War 2, meaning he is set to lock horns with Hrithik Roshan. The film will hit theatres on August 14, 2025.

Hrithik Roshan teases War 2

The Fighter star posted on X (formerly Twitter) about something that would be released on May 20. Hrithik also tagged Jr NTR in his post.

“Hey @tarak9999, think you know what to expect on the 20th of May this year? Trust me you have NO idea what’s in store. Ready?” he wrote.

Fans react to Hrithik Roshan’s War 2 post

While Jr NTR has not replied to Hrithik’s message till now, fans are already hyped about the message. Many believe that the first look or teaser of War 2 could be revealed on Jr NTR’s birthday.

“May 20th might be the date for: A teaser or trailer drop for War 2, a major casting or production announcement or a special appearance or character reveal,” a fan commented.

War 2: Hrithik Roshan vs Jr NTR

During his recent US tour, Hrithik Roshan had stated that War 2 would have a big dance sequence featuring him and Jr NTR. This left fans excited as both actors are fantastic dancers. The first movie also featured a song with both Hrithik and Tiger Shroff showing off their moves.

Hrithik had also promised that War 2 would be “bigger and better” than the first part, stating that he was proud of the film. War 2 is helmed by Ayan Mukerji.

As for Jr NTR, the actor also has Prashanth Neel’s next film in the works. The movie will hit theatres next year.
