Ajay Devgn drops schedule wrap photo with Dhamaal 4 cast, says ‘Madness is back’

Known for its rib-tickling humour and hilarious plotlines, the Dhamaal franchise is set to entertain viewers once again with its fourth instalment. Ajay Devgn has confirmed that Dhamaal 4 is officially in the works. In an Instagram post, he stated that one schedule had already been filmed. The Raid actor has been part of the franchise since the third part - Total Dhamaal.

The movie reunites Ajay Devgn with his Golmaal Again co-stars Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Mishra, among others. It will also be his next film with his Raid 2 co-star Riteish Deshmukh.

Dhamaal 4: Ajay Devgn’s post

The Maidaan actor dropped two photos on Instagram talking about the movie. Ajay Devgn posed with Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Mishra, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, and Anjali Anand in the first photo. In the second image, he was clicked with the film’s director Indra Kumar as well as producers Kumar Mangat Pathak and Bhushan Kumar.

People were happy to see the photos and said they were excited for the project. “Waiting for this eagerly,” another account remarked.

Some fans missed the presence of Ashish Chaudhury and Sanjay Dutt in the images. “Baman and Inspector Kabir are missing,” one fan stated.

“After a long time finally the OG laughter movie is back,” a comment read.

“This year is Ajay’s year,” a fan claimed, referring to Ajay Devgn’s multiple releases in 2025.

Dhamaal 4 plot, cast

The plot of the movie has been kept under wraps. A Pinkvilla report earlier stated that the movie would introduce a completely new world. Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit Nene, who were part of Total Dhamaal, are expected to return for this movie. Notably, both actors were absent from the photos shared by Ajay Devgn on April 10.

Reports state that the movie might release at the end of 2025, but no official announcement has been made. The franchise started in 2007 with the hit comedy Dhamaal. It was followed by Dhamaal 2, which followed the original characters a few years after the first movie, and Total Dhamaal, which featured several new characters.

Ajay Devgn’s upcoming films
Apart from Dhamaal 4, Ajay Devgn is busy gearing up for another sequel - Raid 2. The movie, which hits theatres on May 1, features Ajay Devgn as an honest income tax officer who locks horns with a corrupt politician (Riteish Deshmukh).

Apart from Raid 2, the actor will be seen in the third part of the Drishyam franchise. Ajay Devgn also has Golmaal 5 and De De Pyaar De 2 in the pipeline.
