Sexual wellness startup Allo Health, which is backed by Flipkart founder Binny Bansal, has raised Rs 16 crore in a funding round led by financial services company Zerodha’s venture investment arm, Rainmatter. The round also saw participation by existing investors.

The funds will be used to expand Allo Health’s clinic network, strengthen technological capabilities, and enhance patient engagement.

The startup was founded by Pranay Jivrajka, who was Ola's first employee and a founding partner at the ride-hailing company. Jivrajka also previously served as the CEO of Ola Foods after the Bhavish Aggarwal-led company acquired Foodpanda in 2017. He left Ola in 2021.

The startup runs more than 35 clinics in cities such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Mysore and Hyderabad and claims to have treated over 200,000 patients. It follows a hybrid approach, combining physical clinics, AI-driven treatment protocols, and a team of trained medical professionals.

“Sexual health in India has been overlooked for too long. We are not just creating a business—we are building an entire ecosystem,” said Jivrajka.

“Our focus is on patient outcomes, doctor training, and evidence-based care, ensuring that Indians get access to world-class sexual healthcare,” he added.

Allo Health plans to invest in diagnostics, digital therapy, and private-label solutions. The company is also looking to expand its offerings by entering the mental health segment.

Prior to this round, the startup had raised $4.4 million in seed funding from early-stage venture capital firm Nexus Venture Partners, Flipkart’s Bansal, Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal, and others.

Commenting on the investment, Rainmatter’s Nithin Kamath, cofounder of Zerodha, said, “Sexual health is a massive but under-served market in India. Most people still hesitate to talk about it, let alone seek help.”
