Congress president Kharge names Bhupesh Baghel, Syed Naseer Hussain as AICC general secretaries

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday appointed former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and CWC member Syed Naseer Hussain as new AICC general secretaries with charges of Punjab and J&K, respectively, replacing Devendra Yadav and Bharatsinh Solanki.

He also named Rahul Gandhi campers Krishna Allavaru as AICC in-charge of Bihar, replacing Mohan Prakash and K Raju for Jharkhand in place of Ghulam Ahmed Mir.

Other new AICC in-charges include Rajani Patil for Himachal Pradesh in place of Rajeev Shukla; BK Hariprasad for Haryana in place of Deepak Babaria; Harish Chaudhary for Madhya Pradesh, Girish Chodankar for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and Ajay Kumar Lallu for Odisha.


Meenakshi Natarajan will be AICC in-charge of Telangana while Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka will be AICC in-charge of Manipur, Tripiura, Sikkim and Nagaland.
