These are the five people who could become trillionaires in the next few years

A latest inequality report revealed a major prediction that within the coming decade approximately five renowned personalities on this planet can eventually become trillionaires.

The latest inequality report from Oxfam eventually predicts that within the next decade, at least five individuals will be there who will be achieving the trillionaire status which is a major significant increase from their previous forecast of just one, reported Fortune.

According to Fortune, the charity attributes this shift to a dramatic surge in billionaire wealth while it reportedly grew nearly three times faster in the year 2024 compared to the previous year which is being driven by advancements in technology specifically artificial intelligence (AI) and obviously favorable market conditions.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk who is currently the world's richest person with a net worth of approximately $449 billion is eventually expected to be the first to reach the trillionaire milestone, asserted Fortune. Following Tesla CEO Elon Musk, there are Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Jensen Huang and Bernard Arnault.

Jeff Bezos has seen his wealth rise due to the huge investments of Amazon in AI and space exploration while the focus of Mark Zuckerberg on AI has boosted the stocks of Meta really significantly. The wealth of Jensen Huang is linked to the growth of Nvidia in AI technologies and at the same time, Bernard Arnault still continues to thrive in the luxury goods sector, noted Fortune.

In spite of this major wealth accumulation among the ultra-rich, Oxfam actually highlights that global poverty levels have remained largely unchanged since the year 1990. The organization now calls for a more equitable economic system and urges governments to tax the wealthy to eventually address these disparities.
