While the nation celebrated Karwa Chauth, power couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli took a different route, attending a Krishna Das Kirtan in Mumbai, TOI has reported.

The two were spotted sitting front row, fully immersed in the spiritual chants. It’s unclear if Anushka fasted, as she didn’t share anything on social media. However, the actress has been known to honour the festival.

A few years ago, she posted a heartwarming Karwa Chauth message on Instagram, referring to Virat as her “moon, sun, and star” while dressed in a vibrant yellow salwar kameez.


Fans have always adored the way Anushka and Virat—popularly called Virushka—set relationship goals.




Despite keeping their private life largely under wraps, the duo often shares glimpses of their fun, playful side. A recent example is a promotional video for a sportswear brand, where Anushka challenged Virat to a lighthearted game of cricket.

She cheekily introduced rules in her favor, like “you miss the ball thrice, you’re out” and “one who brings the bat, bats first.” The humorous clip shows Virat bowling Anushka out twice, followed by a cute protest from the cricketer as Anushka playfully changed rules on the spot.

Sharing the video, Anushka captioned it, “Lulu balling, lassi shots & a lot more,” inviting tons of attention from fans and fellow celebrities. Actor Karan Tacker commented on the adorable bloopers, while director Zoya Akhtar and actress Huma Qureshi shared their love for the clip. Fans, as always, showered the couple with praise, calling them the “best couple in the world” and admiring their ability to keep things light-hearted and fun.

Virat and Anushka, who tied the knot in December 2017, recently welcomed their second child earlier this year in February. Their first daughter, Vamika, was born in January 2021.

Known for keeping their family life away from the limelight, they continue to remain a beloved duo for their fans.

Anushka, meanwhile, has been preparing for her next big film, Chakda Xpress, a biopic about the legendary Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Although the official release date hasn’t been announced, fans are eagerly awaiting the project, which will be streamed on OTT platforms.

As for Virat, he continues to make headlines with his record-breaking cricketing feats. Recently, during a Test series against Bangladesh, Kohli became the fastest player to cross 27,000 international runs—a milestone etched in cricketing history.
