Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has emerged as the top celebrity taxpayer for the fiscal year 2023-24, with an advance tax payment of Rs 92 crore. This information is sourced from Fortune India's latest compilation of celebrity tax payments.

Thalapathy Vijay and Others Follow

Tamil actor 'Thalapathy' Vijay ranks second on the list with an advance tax payment of Rs 80 crore. He surpasses other prominent figures such as Salman Khan, who is in third place with Rs 75 crore, and Amitabh Bachchan, who ranks fourth with Rs 71 crore.

Additional Taxpayers in the Entertainment Industry

The list also features several other well-known personalities from the film and entertainment industry. Ajay Devgn paid Rs 42 crore, followed by Ranbir Kapoor with Rs 36 crore and Hrithik Roshan with Rs 28 crore. Kapil Sharma, Kareena Kapoor, and Shahid Kapoor also made notable contributions, paying Rs 26 crore, Rs 20 crore, and Rs 14 crore, respectively.

Other Prominent Names

Actors Mohan Lal and Allu Arjun each paid Rs 14 crore in advance tax, while Kiara Advani contributed Rs 12 crore. Katrina Kaif and Pankaj Tripathi each paid Rs 11 crore, and Aamir Khan paid Rs 10 crore.

Cricketers

In the cricketing world, Virat Kohli stands out as the highest taxpayer among cricketers, having paid Rs 66 crore in advance tax. Other notable cricketers include M S Dhoni, who paid Rs 38 crore, and Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, who contributed Rs 28 crore and Rs 23 crore, respectively.

In addition to Kohli, Hardik Pandya paid Rs 13 crore, and Rishabh Pant contributed Rs 10 crore in advance tax.
