Former cine star Raj Babbar, Congress' Gurgaon candidate, is a striking example of how some people thrive forever in Congress, with few in the party knowing the reasons for it. Babbar, a Punjabi, was once made PCC president of Uttar Pradesh, then he was brought to the Rajya Sabha from Uttarakhand. Babbar, who once defeated Mulayam Yadav's daughter-in-law Dimple Yadav and enjoyed patronage of the Gandhi establishment, then joined Congress' group of 23. While Congress camps struggle to spot a link between Babbar and Gurgaon, a little bird points to BS Hooda, once a lead G-23 player.
