Priyanka Chopra Jonas offers prayer at Ayodhya Ram Mandir along with husband Nick Jonas and daughter Maltie

Indian actor producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas, along with her husband, American singer Nick Jonas, visited the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Accompanied by their two-year-old daughter, Malti Marie Jonas, the couple offered prayers at the shrine. Priyanka, adorned in a yellow sari, and Nick, dressed in a kurta set, were captured in photographs as they paid their respects at the temple. Priyanka lovingly carried Malti, dressed in a peach outfit, during their visit.

The couple also took the opportunity to pose for pictures with temple priests and their security personnel, capturing moments of their visit. This marks their first visit to the Ram temple following its grand consecration ceremony in January. The event saw the presence of various cinema personalities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif, and Rishab Shetty.

Earlier in the day, Priyanka and Nick were spotted exiting the Ayodhya airport with their daughter, accompanied by security personnel, setting the stage for their temple visit.



Prior to this visit, Priyanka Chopra Jonas attended the Prime Video Presents event in Mumbai, where she showcased her upcoming production venture, "Women of My Billion", a documentary. This highlights her engagement with diverse projects beyond the realm of entertainment.

At the Prime Video Presents event, Chopra Jonas expressed her gratitude towards Prime Video, emphasizing their continuous support over the years. "I've had a really long relationship with Prime Video, now almost going on for four years, and they have always been champions of the work that I have done. And this movie was one of them," she remarked while introducing the film's director and cast.

Dubbed as "Women of My Billion" or "WOMB," the documentary revolves around the journey of Srishti Bakshi, a UN Women Champion of Change. Bakshi undertakes a monumental trek covering 3,800 km over 240 days, from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, aiming to connect with women from diverse backgrounds across India, firsthand understanding their struggles and triumphs.

Chopra Jonas highlighted the presence of Pragya Prasun in the film, emphasizing her lifelong dedication to rehabilitating women who have endured various forms of violence.

"As a company, we Purple Pebble Pictures, stand for being a springboard for filmmakers who want to tell stories that they are passionate about," added Chopra Jonas.
