According to a Times Of India report, leading man Hrithik Roshan charged a whopping Rs 85 crore! Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, who also make up the rest of the star-studded cast, were paid Rs 20 crore and Rs 15 crore respectively.


In September 2023, Siasat reported that Roshan, who usually charges anything from Rs 75- 100 crore per film, took home Rs 85 crore.

A Look At ‘Fighter’s Box-Office Journey

Although the high-octane aerial drama had a slow start, the movie’s box-office prospects improved gradually, and the film crossed the Rs 100 crore benchmark within four days of release.

The Siddharth Anand directorial, which gained a modest Rs 22.5 crore on the opening day, went on to collect Rs 39 crore, Rs 27, and Rs 29 crore in the next three days. It is all set to cross Rs 126 crore domestically.

Touted to be Bollywood’s first-ever aerial drama, ‘Fighter’ is helmed by Siddharth Anand (of ‘Pathaan’ fame), and revolves around the life of a few officers in the Indian Airforce. The movie centres around the Balakot air strike that took place in 2019. The strike was carried out by the Indian Air Force against the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in retaliation to a terror attack in J&K. Forty members of the group lost their lives in the attack.
