'Sam Bahadur' continues to hold its own at the box-office despite facing stiff competition from the Ranbir Kapoor film 'Animal'.

On December 7, Harsh Mariwala, the founder and Chairman of Marico, took to X (formerly Twitter) and heaped praises on the Vicky Kaushal-starrer.
The business tycoon gushed about Kaushal’s tour-de-force performance as Sam Manekshaw, India’s first Field Marshal, and called it “nothing short of spectacular.” He also lauded director Meghna Gulzar for celebrating the contributions and life of a “strategic genius”, who till recently was often ignored by the annals of Indian history.
“The film brilliantly captures key historical events involving Bangladesh, Pakistan, and China, offering a window into important chapters of the past. Vicky Kaushal's portrayal of Sam Manekshaw is nothing short of spectacular, bringing to life the charisma and courage of this celebrated military leader.
Meghna Gulzar and her team have done a commendable job in highlighting the contributions of a strategic genius whose story, despite its significance, might have remained largely uncelebrated,” reads his tweet.
