On Instagram, Boris Johnson's wife Carrie said, "New team member arriving in just a few weeks. I've felt pretty exhausted for much of the last eight months but we can't wait to meet this little one. Wilf is [very] excited about being a big brother again, and has been chattering about it non-stop. Don't think Romy has a clue what's coming... She soon will!"

The previous children of 35-year-old Carrie with Boris are Wilf and Romy. In December 2021, Romy was born while Wilf in April 2020. The Tory politician married PR guru Carrie Johnson in May 2021.

The new child will be the politician’s eighth child. He has four children with former wife Marina Wheeler. One child was born after he had an affair with art consultant Helen Macintyre in 2009. And he also has two children with his current wife Carrie.


This is the first time the couple have welcomed a child when they are not living in Downing Street. They had left it in September last year when Johnson was ousted by his own government.
