APPENDIX 1: Patents Registration - Office Contact Details

Application for registration must be filed under the appropriate Patent Office within whose jurisdiction you normally reside or where your business is located. For non-residents, place of business or any other service center determined by patent agent can be the relevant jurisdiction for filing application.

Patent rights are territorial in nature and do not extend beyond the jurisdiction for which they are granted. If you want to reserve the intellectual property right in different countries, you can either directly file separate application in respective countries or file Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) application simultaneously with application.
