Amarnath issue: Samiti warns of jail bharo stir

JAMMU : The Shri Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti (SASS), spearheading an agitation demanding restoration of land transfer order, on Friday threatened to launch 'jail bharo' stir if the government failed to meet its demand soon.
Samiti spokesperson Narinder Singh told reporters that it would launch a stir from August 18 to 20 in support of their demand.
Expressing concern over the "indifferent" attitude of the government over the Amarnath issue, he said demonstrations would be held in front of police stations from August 18 and that the activists would court arrest.
The Samiti also accused the government of not initiating action against those who burnt the National Flag recently.
